For almost half a century, the Kingdom of Bahrain has been the home of an enthusiastic motor racing community. In September 2002 it was finally confirmed that by 2004, this friendly country will host a round of the Formula One World Championship on what will be the first world-class racing circuit in the Middle East region and the most advanced facility of its kind in the world.
