Bra Help

There is a big difference between
putting a bra on in a hurry or taking your time to make sure that your bra is
correctly positioned so that it provides the correct support and fit. A few
extra seconds spent positioning your bra will provide lasting comfort throughout
the day.
The most common mistake made when
choosing a bra size is increasing the band size instead of the cup size. For
example if a 34C feels tight then the common mistake would be to move to a 36C,
when a 34D would have done. Only change band size if you can get two or more
fingers under the band of your bra.
Wear the bra that fits your breasts
& not the one your brain wants to fit!
Comfort and correct fitting are
essential for maintaining healthy breasts. Whilst wearing a bra does not have
any proven health benefits, wearing an ill fitting bra can lead to nerve damage
and long term damage to your breasts. Women with C cup or larger should be
wearing a bra with under-wire support. If you are looking to give your busts a
lift after pregnancy then a bra with under-wire support will do the trick.
It is not advisable to wear bras
that have very thin bra straps especially if they dig into your shoulders.
Doctors in the States have warned that wearing thin bra straps to tightly can be
dangerous leading to neck pain, headaches & possible nerve damage, so if you
must wear a bra with thin straps then make sure that it fits and does not dig
into your shoulders.
I am often asked if women with an
'A' cup size should wear a bra and my reply is that it is not necessary for any
woman to wear a bra as the healthiest breasts are free breasts, but if woman
with 'A' cup size want to wear a bra then wear a bra with light foam padding or
fibrefill to add natural looking shape and help create a cleavage.
If you are looking for a bra that is
comfortable, provides lift and enhances your bust line then a demi bra is
advisable. To get greater lift and more exposure for those special occasions,
use a push up bra.
Remember that when you are buying a
new bra, different manufacturers sizing's may differ, so it is important to try
before you buy or don't be shy in returning your bra if it doesn't fit and you
bought it online.
When buying a Bra you really do get
what you pay for. Quality bras that fit well and enhance your breasts take a
great deal of time to design and make, may use a variety of expensive materials
and so will inevitably cost more.
