location
Bahrain is conveniently located between Asia and Europe, offering
an ideal venue for motor sport and motoring related activities between
the two continents. just six hours from Europe, six hours from the
Far East and with a 1oo million regional population less than two
hours away by air.
Warm weather testing
Bahrain's climate is very temperate for six months of the year, and in the summer will be an ideal warm weather testing ground for automotive manufacturers. The climate is hot in summer and mild in winter. October to April is very pleasant, with temperatures from 15 to
30 degrees centigrade. Temperatures are coolest between December and March when northerly winds prevail. From July to September temperatures average 36 degrees centigrade with high humidity. The average rainfall is only 77
millimeters a year.
Multi purpose use
The circuit will be the ideal venue for corporate and incentive events. The magnificent facilities can provide for corporate drive days to include seminars and entertainment. Events can be tailor made to suit almost any requirement, including vehicle launches. Logistics staff will be available to take care of all transport and storage requirements.
Road safety and driver training
Facilities will be available for road safety courses and driver training to improve driving skills and ultimately road safety.
Racing school
The development will include an international standard race driving
school, providing regional and international clients with state-of
the art
facilities.
Motor Sports Academy
From 2005 Bahrain Racing Circuit, in conjunction with Bahrain Motor Federation will provide state-of the-art accredited courses and seminars for motor sports officials as well as courses in event management. The courses wilt be open to international students.
Flexibility
The six-track circuit will be able to host all classes of motor sport including Formula
1, touring and sports car racing, drag racing and go-karting.
